Personal Bible reading plan

Robert Murray M'Cheyne (1813-1843)was a minister in Scotland. He died at the age of just 29. In that time, he devised a Bible reading plan to enable his congregations to read the whole Bible through in a year. It requires reading four chapters a day, at the end of which the Old Testament has been read once, and the New Testament & Psalms twice. The two suggested ways of using it have been ...

• Read two chapters in the morning, and two in the evening
• Read two chapters on your own, and two with the family

Of course, the alternative is to read just one or two chapters a day, thus covering the whole Bible in two or four years.

It prints out to a double-sided A4 sheet, which can be folded and tucked inside a Bible. It also contains M'Cheyne's rationale for, and warnings relating to, the plan.
